Hydari (Urdu: حیدری) or Hyderi is a surname among Muslims of the Middle East and South Asia. It is derived from 'Hyder' (Arabic: حَـيـدر, an epithet of 'Lion'), which was a title of Ali.1 Notable people with the surname include:
