- Hey @Tenryuu appreciate the assistance. Im puzzled as to whats going on with the unsigned template you added into the middle of my reply. I made a single 3 paragraph reply on this alt account here with my signature at the end, and your restoration of the unsigned template in the middle didnt really give me clarity on why you did it. Did i screw something up with the line breaks in a way that isnt displaying the issue on mobile? Was it not clear that this is an alt and I am LaffyTaffer? Not relevant to the ani thread itself, moreso asking out of curiosity to make sure no similar issues happen in the next month since I'm stuck on this account until then.LaffierTaffer💬(they/she) 21:21, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
- From what I saw, your later comment from LaffierTaffer was tacked on to your earlier reply from this account. While it would make sense that two accounts are likely operated by the same user, there are times where that isn't the case. The other thing is editing your comment after a substantial amount of time has passed: it's not as bad if no one's replied with a comment indented to it, but a timestamp or an "ETA" would be appreciated to acknowledge that material has been changed so comments referring to it don't appear out of place or nonsensical. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 02:58, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
- Alright, without getting into the weeds of what actually happened, I think I can see that writing new messages as LaffierTaffer in the same thread that I previously responded to as LaffyTaffer led to confusion from other users. Question regarding recent edits on Kathleen Tessaro page
Hi Taffer,
I noticed your bio mentions you handle counter-vandalism and LGBTQ+ articles, so I wanted to reach out directly as you requested. I am Gregg Liberi, Kathleen Tessaro's husband.
Recently, some edits reverted her marital status (we have been married since 2010, as noted on her IMDb and official bios) and brought back a prominent focus on an old court case involving an ex-spouse.
More importantly, the current phrasing tracks a "son," but our adult child is actually a trans woman. To comply with WP:BLPPRIVACY and protect her privacy as a non-famous private citizen, we want to update the text neutrally from "has a son" to simply "has one child."
I completely understand that counter-vandalism patrolling is a heavy lifting job and things get reverted quickly by accident! Could you help us restore the accurate spouse info and update the child phrasing to the neutral "has one child"? I have also left a formal note on the article's Talk page, but wanted to connect with you directly. Thank you for your volunteer work!
