Close paraphrasing in Draft:Macropenis

Your addition to Draft:Macropenis has been removed or altered, as it appears to closely paraphrase a copyrighted source. Limited close paraphrasing or quotation is appropriate within reason, so long as the material is clearly attributed in the text. However, longer paraphrases, especially if they are not attributed to their source, may constitute copyright violation and/or plagiarism, and are not acceptable on Wikipedia. Such content cannot be hosted here for legal reasons; please do not post it on any page, even if you plan to fix it later. You may use external websites or printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If you own the copyright to the text, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the copyright but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.

Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. I can see that you cited the chapter "Megalopenis", [1] but you also need to write it in your own words. A lot of the text also duplicates https://incels.wiki/w/Macrophallism, which may also be protected by copyright. Content from there should be cited and rephrased. No self taken fotos alowed?

Is it really not alowed to create and use fotos for the English Wikipedia? Mitumial (talk) 06:36, 2 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Mitumial it's discouraged to put photos of yourself on the top of Wikipedia pages, especially when there are plentiful other options available. LachlanTheUmUlGiTurtle (talk) 06:41, 2 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your answer. I actually took hundreds of fotos for the illustration of the German Wikipedia. It was not a problem to put some of them on the top of Wikipedia pages. Ah, and it is not myself on the foto :-) Mitumial (talk) 19:31, 2 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Mitumial the only issue is the self promotion aspect. if it's not you then please attribute it correctly LachlanTheUmUlGiTurtle (talk) 21:02, 2 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I don't quite understand. What exactly is meant by "self-promotion"? I took the photo, but the person pictured is not me. What did I fail to specify correctly when submitting the image? Mitumial (talk) 05:26, 3 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
So, may I put the photo back into the article? Mitumial (talk) 17:25, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
So if the only reason was the self promotion aspect I put the foto back then. Mitumial (talk) 05:48, 10 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Rupert Lowe

Why did you make this reversion? There is absolutely no evidence that Lowe "misspoke". Joe Rogan asked him to confirm whether it was "one murder", and Lowe repeated that phrase. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 06:16, 10 July 2026 (UTC)[reply]

whatever you wanna call it, you're missing the point. calling a shooting a murder is not a political viewpoint on par with immigration and climate change LachlanTheUmUlGiTurtle (talk) 07:06, 10 July 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, but you're not providing any justification in policy for removing sourced content. Arguing that firearms should be deregulated is a political view, which Lowe has expressed more than once. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 07:25, 10 July 2026 (UTC)[reply]
okay great let's include details of his firearm policies, not give undue weight to a single thing he said which dominates the paragraph LachlanTheUmUlGiTurtle (talk) 08:10, 10 July 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Jmorrison230582 I've cut it down to just the views LachlanTheUmUlGiTurtle (talk) 05:39, 11 July 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, but you cannot separate these out. It's pretty clear that he has adopted these anti-regulation views due to the fact the regulations adopted after Dunblane meant his father had to surrender his guns, and Lowe himself had his seized during the dispute with Farage. To take those aspects out removes the whole context of why he holds these views. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 06:30, 11 July 2026 (UTC)[reply]
