Various page moves

Hi,

Just wanted to say thanks for converting my page moves into redirects :)

There's another batch of about 20 station articles that might need similar treatment, currently redlinked in the first two tables here - Walker railmotor#In service - though some of them might be redlinked because there is no article to go to. In those cases, would it make sense to generate a redirect towards the line articles as a stopgap?

@Anothersignalman: Hey, I don't see why you can't just wikilink to the article directly without the comma disambiguation (if an article exists)? For example, link to Seymour railway station instead of Seymour railway station, Victoria and pipe the wikilink as needed?
I mean otherwise, you can of course create the redirects manually? Creating a redirect doesn't require a page move. I didn't get that your intention was to create redirects with your page move summaries "To match format of Australian railway stations in general". Some more information about redirects and how to create them at Wikipedia:Redirect. Fork99 (talk) 00:25, 21 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
When I set up the table I was trying to futureproof and avoid disambiguation pages. I hadn't thought to check for a policy page for the station names. I'd just picked up on the general vibe that adding the state/city had sort of emerged over time, so I figured someone, somewhere, had decided to make that the default and hadn't yet gotten around to the ones I thought I was fixing a few nights ago. PageTriage

An attempt was made to get the New Pages Feed to sort by date marked as reviewed instead of date created. However we had to revert it due to bugs. We may try again in the future. You can subscribe to the Phabricator ticket if you're interested in following along.
