Hi, I noticed that Draft:Little Nightmares: Stop-Motion Project was deleted under WP:G13 as an abandoned draft. I understand the G13 rationale and I have requested restoration at WP:REFUND/G13 because I still intend to work on the draft.

I just wanted to ask about the notification process: for my previous abandoned drafts, I usually received a bot message on my talk page warning that the draft was approaching G13 deletion if it was not edited. In this case, I do not recall receiving such a notification before deletion. Was there a reason no prior notice was sent, or did I perhaps miss it?

Thanks for your help. Umais🗣 07:06, 1 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration request

Hello! I am hoping you can restore File:Lauretta Jean's logo.png for me, now that Lauretta Jean's is back in the main space. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 12:34, 1 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Another Believer: Hi, I've restored the file and moved it to Commons as a simple logo. plicit 13:55, 1 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks so much! ---Another Believer (Talk) 13:57, 1 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has asked for a deletion review of Template:Jews and Judaism category tree. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review.   ~ Tom.Reding (talkdgaf)  22:03, 2 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Restore article deleted due to PROD

Hello Explicit. On 30 May, you deleted the article King Island Airport here [1] on the grounds of an uncontested PROD. The PROD claimed it was not a notable subject, but a quick search of Google news shows there are many articles that provide SIGCOV in RS. Had I seen this while it was active, I would have removed the PROD tag and expanded the article and added sources, but alas i am but one man with many competing priorities! Thank you! Dfadden (talk) 09:44, 3 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Dfadden: Done – as a contested proposed deletion, the article has been restored upon request. plicit 11:21, 3 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I just happen to have your talk page on my watchlist, so I saw this - happy to hold off on any further action until improvements are made. Danners430 tweaks made 11:30, 3 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! Dfadden (talk) 22:18, 3 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Explicit can you also restore St Helens Airport and Smithton Airport please? I hope to get to these to give a similar treatment to King Island Airport (I think i had already added sources and expanded Smithton a while back, but can't see it any more to confirm....) Also, I noticed that XFDCloser removed a bunch of wikilinks targetting these pages after they were deleted. Are these automatically restored as well when the page is undeleted? It looks like some of the King Island ones did not restore automatically. Dfadden (talk) 13:58, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Dfadden: I've restored those two articles as well. Backlinks are not automatically restored upon page restoration, so the task will need to be done manually. plicit 14:04, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Danners430 would you be able to assist me to manually restore these links? There was close to 30 inbound links to King Island Airport alone which I am now working through fixing. Dfadden (talk) 23:36, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Probably the easiest way is to get the timestamp of when the article was deleted, and go to that time in Xplicit’s contributions history and start from there - I’ll take a look once I’m at a keyboard later on, not just on my phone Danners430 tweaks made 05:34, 5 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Explicit, AIICO Capital has been redirected to AIICO insurance who happens to be a separate body from the insurance company. AIICO Capital is a very notable investment banking firm in Nigeria and should have its own dedicated Wikipedia article. Pls consider removing the redirect link you added to the article 5 months ago. AIICO Capital Oluwaseun1111 (talk) 13:17, 3 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Oluwaseun1111: Hi, AIICO Capital was redirected as a result of the deletion discussion Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/AIICO Capital. It can not be unilaterally restored against consensus. If you are able to provide sources that prove that it is independently notable, you may want to consider writing and submitting a draft via the Articles for creation process. plicit 02:34, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a cross-project redirect though? It redirected to my enwiki user page, which is being rendered from Meta. If my redirect was #REDIRECT [[meta:User:ABx11]], then I could understand, but it's #REDIRECT [[User:ABx11]], i.e. it's staying within enwiki bounds though? --ABx11 (she/they | formerly TheAuroraBorealis | In solidarity) 14:45, 3 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@ABx11: Your userpage does not exist locally, so MediaWiki maintenance tools identified User:Abx11 as a broken redirect. Without a soft redirect, it would be listed at User:AnomieBOT III/Broken redirects indefinitely. plicit 02:34, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but is there a way to override this? --ABx11 (she/they | formerly TheAuroraBorealis | In solidarity) 02:46, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@ABx11: I'm not aware of how to override it. I'm actually not sure if anyone has contested me turning a hard redirect into a soft one in an instance such as this. Perhaps consider a local userpage, or WP:DOPP? plicit 11:46, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
But if ABx11 is taken by me, I wouldn’t be able to register Abx11? I tried to rename to AB11 before choosing this username, but I couldn’t due to someone with a similar username, Ab11. --ABx11 (she/they | formerly TheAuroraBorealis | In solidarity) 19:45, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Restore request Draft: Collins House Group

Hi Explicit, I did not create the original draft, but was about to start some work on a draft on this subject, when I found that there had been a previous attempt. It makes sense to not completely start the page from scratch. I am assuming that it is the same Collins House Group that is shown on the Collins House disambiguation page "three mining companies, whose operations began at Broken Hill and who shared an office building at 360-366 Collins Street, Melbourne, from 1911 until 1951". Please restore the draft, and I will start work on edits. TrimmerinWiki (talk) 06:34, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@TrimmerinWiki: Done – as a draft or Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13, the page has been restored upon request. They are not for the indefinite hosting of material that is unsuitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. Please continue to work on the draft so that it meets Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for inclusion, prior to another six months elapsing. plicit 11:46, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Logo General Security Service (Syria).png

Hi

Could you restaure File:Logo General Security Service (Syria).png? I will add it again to the article Internal Security Command (Syria). Panam2014 (talk) 15:16, 6 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Panam2014:  Done, file restored. plicit 23:45, 6 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page watcher) Hi Panam2014. Explicit may have restored this file, but the way you're using it in General Security Service (Syria)#History doesn't satsify WP:NFCC#8 (WP:NFC#cite_note-4); so, the file is likely going to end up being tagged for deleted again, only this time for a different reason (WP:F7). Simply wanting the reader to see a former logo is almost never considered a sufficient justification for non-free use; generally, there needs to be some sourced critical commentary related to the logo or the change in the logo also somewhere in the article. If the General Security Service has a current logo, you should be able to add that to the main infobox per Wikipedia's non-free content use policy, but it may be hard to keep the former logo from being deleted unless you're able to find some reliably sourced content about the change of logo and add that to the article. -- Marchjuly (talk) 03:27, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I will add source. Panam2014 (talk) 09:14, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Paramount Records category

I'm sure someone has removed the categories from some album articles and that's why it has become bare. Karl Twist (talk) 13:17, 8 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Karl Twist: Its sole member was Down in the Village, which had some of its categories removed by Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars as unsourced. plicit 13:19, 8 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
