Temp account messages for you

Hi C.Fred; It seems that this is the message which a recent Temp account hopper left for you here: "~2026-28744-62 talk... C.Fred... wtf is wrong with you? Stay off my talk and don't restore incompetent comments here I've removed." Its also the case that he is making similar comments against my account as well. I'm counting over six Temp account hoppings for him in the last week or two. Might you have an interest in comparing notes further with me to find out what is going on with him? Reverted edits

Hey @C.Fred:, Just because I am new to Wikipedia does not nullify my edits, which are far superior and more accurate than the current version that you restored. Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to discuss the changes on the talk page, as I did, before reverting them? Thank you RevivedCicero (talk) 23:33, 28 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@RevivedCicero Because your edits violate the WP:Manual of Style, it would need to go beyond just the talk page. —C.Fred (talk) 01:43, 29 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Carnegie Classifications Sources

Hello C. Fred,

I just got a note that my suggested edit to the Carnegie Classifications page didn't include a reliable source, and I'd like to know more about what you're looking for there. I cited seven links to different publications and announcements about the latest changes made to the system, including links to Inside Higher Ed, Higher Ed Dive, and Forbes, all of which are legitimate news sources with no inherent bias. Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide! KLearyBeClear (talk) 16:48, 29 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@KLearyBeClear There were no references when I looked at your version. —C.Fred (talk) 18:41, 29 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your response. That is strange. I just resubmitted by edit with the citations again. Do you mind letting me know if you can see them now? Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education KLearyBeClear (talk) 19:26, 29 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@KLearyBeClear They're showing now. —C.Fred (talk) 20:28, 29 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Wonderful, thank you. Please let me know if you have any other feedback or suggestions. Appreciate it! KLearyBeClear (talk) 20:29, 29 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Assistance requested

Hello C.Fred. I am the Chief of Staff at AMVETS National HQ. I was wondering if you could help us update our wiki page? Pepperstoast (talk) 17:41, 30 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Pepperstoast You'll need to make a request on the article's talk page. The {{Edit COI}} template is available for that purpose. Make sure to provide independent reliable sources to support the changes. —C.Fred (talk) 22:37, 30 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
