Background

The school was founded by Late Donaldson Shaka Momodu. It has its main campus at Evbo-Ewedo, Egba Way, along Benin-Auchi Road and the first campus at 1, Prince Shaka Momodu Street, Ogiso Quarters, Benin City. 3 The institution became accredited as a Polytechnic by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in 2013.456 The polytechnic is under the leadership of Henrietta Shaka Momodu.

The institution runs four schools/faculties with a total of nine academic programmes for the award of National Diploma(ND) and Higher National Diploma(HND);789
