Malva setigera

Malva setigera, also known as Althaea hirsuta, the rough marsh-mallow, hairy marsh-mallow, hispid marsh-mallow or hairy mallow, is a species of annual herb in the family Malvaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form and simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 28 cm (11 in).

Malva setigera,2 also known as Althaea hirsuta,3 the rough marsh-mallow, hairy marsh-mallow, hispid marsh-mallow or hairy mallow, is a species of annual herb in the family Malvaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form and simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 28 cm (11 in).14

Distribution

The rough marsh-mallow is native to central Europe, the Mediterranean and the Caucasus. It has been introduced to the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada.2
