KXWI is a radio station licensed to Williston, North Dakota, which serves northwestern North Dakota and northeastern Montana. History

KXWI began broadcasting in 20141 under the ownership of Stephen A. Marks,5 through his Williston Community Broadcasting.6 Marks already owned KDSR and KGCX in the area.5

Stephen Marks died on May 11, 2022.7 Andrew Sturlaugson's P&A Media acquired Marks' Montana and North Dakota radio stations, including KXWI, KDSR, and KGCX, for $850,000 in 2024.6
