Dimaro

Dimaro is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 66 kilometres (41 mi) northwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,193 and an area of 28.3 square kilometres (10.9 mi2).

Dimaro (in local dialect: Dimàr) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 66 kilometres (41 mi) northwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,193 and an area of 28.3 square kilometres (10.9 mi2).2

The municipality of Dimaro contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Folgarida and Carciato.

Dimaro borders the following municipalities: Malè, Commezzadura, Monclassico.
