Horological museums are specialized museums dedicated to horology, i.e. museums dealing with timekeeping and timekeepers. They usually explore the history of watches and clocks from various angles, including a decorative arts, history of science, and technical/engineering perspective. Often they also provide a section (or temporary exhibits) dedicated to the social or sociological aspects of time and timekeeping.

Besides museums dedicated to horology a large number of museums around the globe have either horological departments or show a few horological artifacts in their general collection.
