Azure Party

The Azure Party, nicknamed the Iranian Nazi Party and the Black Shirts, was a fascist party in Iran with Germanophile and pro-Nazi Germany tendencies.

The Azure Party (Persian: حزب کبود, romanizedHezb-e kabud), nicknamed the Iranian Nazi Party1 and the Black Shirts2 (Persian: سیاه‌پوشان, romanizedSiahpushan), was a fascist party in Iran3 with Germanophile and pro-Nazi Germany tendencies.4

The party was founded by Ḥabib-Allāh Nowbaḵt. Other notable figures reportedly affiliated with the party were Fazlollah Zahedi and Shams Qanatabadi.5
