Astrotricha

Astrotricha is a genus of shrubs in the ivy family Araliaceae endemic to Australia. It contains about 20 described species and a number of undescribed ones, and the genus is mostly confined to Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland with one species found in Western Australia.

Astrotricha is a genus of shrubs in the ivy family Araliaceae endemic to Australia. It contains about 20 described species and a number of undescribed ones, and the genus is mostly confined to Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland with one species found in Western Australia.3

Description

Plants in this genus are erect shrubs that are either single-stemmed (subgenus Hexocenia) or bushy (subgenus Astrotricha). Leaves are often cordate and usually laneolate or linear, and often covered in a dense indumentum. Inflorescences are usually terminal panicles composed of umbels.345
