The AN poster is User:জঙ্গলবাসী, who as you say posts that kind of thing. They're also all over that article's history. The other user appears to me completely unrelated. Was the lack of a primary block the counfoundation? Edits from the second account there looked reasonable and the filing editor didn't assert any particular disruption besides the obvious second account (or not-second account as denied after my warning - I don't remember if these were connected under the hood though I suspect I would have said something on the SPI if they were not). I've seen your name often show up, always blocking and defending the site from abuse with an iron fist. Great work! I also wanted to make a request. I became interested in anti-vandalism from the task center after my account was 2 days old and carefully read the instructions on WP:vandalism and WP:recent changes patrol, along with some time spectating rc, before starting. I've now hit up the required 30 day mark and want to try advanced software like anti-vandal and huggle, and also find out how rollback differs with twinkle which I already use. I don't know of anyone personally, but anyone who watches this talk page is welcome to chime in. Options might include asking for pointers at WP:VPM, or from a participant of the aforementioned AI WikiProject. I also think a useful route might be to ask someone at the WMF - though I've no idea who - one route might be through the meta:Wikimedia Ghana User Group or similar organisations. As far as do's and don't go, I'm a bit of a cynic. Our guidelines are always changing, but it seems to be: don't create new pages with LLMs (WP:NEWLLM), and avoid AI images (especially of people (WP:AIIMGBLP)). Well, if you're writing here then you're not blocked, and your IP is not blocked. I imagine it's likely that you've either used Chrome recently, or used a browser-based VPN (and I imagine that might include one used in Firefox). For whatever reason, you appear to have recently been in contact with Google's proxy. At a certain point, I worry that this is taking too much time from you from focusing on other admin endeavors, and we have seen thousands of these accounts created. Stewards declined more locking a few days back after what I assume was one of the largest mass locks with over 300 accounts. Many of these accounts have gotten through, and they haven't edited, are we sure it is still worth pursing them? I'm sure there is stuff I just don't know per WP:BEANS and WP:CHK, but thought I ought to bring it up.

Yes, I don't expect anyone to spend much time on this. I'm able to cheat because it's relatively simple for me to sweep some IPs and block the obvious. Hello DAnane. Where to start? First, do go through the previous discussion (here), and any others you know about, and see what lessons can be learned. My key points would be these: 1) Avoid LLM. It's a difficult thing to get right, and so easy to get wrong. People will be on the lookout for it. It seems our best guidelines are at Wikipedia:Writing articles with large language models, but there's more information at Wikipedia:Large language models. 2) The accounts should identify that they are taking part in the challenge - either by an occasional edit summary or a note on the userpage. This is absolutely helpful in preventing people getting blocked for multiple accounts. It will also allow 'students' to have a bit more latitude, and help, when it comes to making mistakes. There are better experts than me on this one. Does this page help? I think it provides a reasonable synopsis. They're quite into editing (and probably promoting) Indian films and actors - probably some of their friends or clients. Hi there, I've noticed some strange activity on this draft. The OP Archana also created Draft:Common Guy, which relates to Gowrishankar SRG so there's a link to Alak there. The other one, Yashvi, voted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ahaan Panday (2nd nomination) but I note that they were one of the few keep voters that you didn't deem to be an Alak sock. I'm sure that both of these accounts are on your radar anyway but thought I'd make you aware.

Alak is certainly mixed up in there, but IMO there seems to be a blend of interests going on in those parts. I probably don't know all the parties, but might see if I can have a deeper rummage. Higstudios was previously blocked by Yamla as a sock of Timelash but got unblocked as a false positive. Today, it got locked by EPIC based on meta checkuser findings. I'm wondering whether that connection to Timelash was really a false positive or not. They were definitely aware of who Timelash was many months before their block as they made a comment on the SPI back in January. A murky story for sure. I am reasonably confident this is not Timelash. There is some other nonsense going on with their IPs (which may be sometimes shared), such as loutsocking, and also possibly some contagion from Astrawiki3203 (who may have been impersonating Timelash) which may or may not be true and relevant. Or there may be some other LTA activity on there - I haven't felt a need to delve too far into this- I am not sure about the reason for the glock, and it will now need a local CU to review any unblock (if they're ever unlocked). What I can confidently say is that the main reason for today's block is AdolfNP (talk · contribs · block log). That one is all theirs. Just now, a large amount of accounts with similar usernames were created in quick succession (two to three words followed by a number consisting of 4-6 digits). For example User:VoyageQuestSage27665 or User:TapestrySpindleChisel742973. Just wanted to mention that because it seemed very unusual to me.
