Coordinated offsite campaign to disruptively edit Childhood nudity and Depictions of nudity

Hi WriterArtistDC,

My research has shown that there is a coordinated offsite campaign to disrupt Childhood nudity and Depictions of nudity by making edits to remove photographs that have already reached consensus from the former article and removing various pieces of information on the symbolism of nudity in art from the latter article. I think that this counts as meatpuppetry and inserting POV onto the latter article. Please let the administrators know that this is happening offsite and there is a smear campaign to try to falsely claim that the editors of these articles are pedophiles or degenerate people when we are just trying to discuss a historical topic from a neutral perspective.

I have little interest in what happens offsite, and can only do what I can to maintain the articles to which I have contributed. I no longer watch the article Depictions of nudity, and consider it to be suffering from a lack of focus, which would best be addressed by splitting it into articles on subtopics, a task I have no interest in assuming. Since beginning to edit the articles related to Nudity I have created a number of sub-articles, including Childhood nudity and have brought it to GA status. There have been two recent edits, the first an obvious attempt to remove all images, which I quickly reverted. The second removal of images by another editor seems reasonable, and I am assuming good faith. WriterArtistDC (talk) 02:32, 7 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

I have edited Childhood nudity to restore most of the images, moving some while adding text to provide clearer context. WriterArtistDC (talk) 20:00, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

I have edited Wikipedia for almost 20 years, and have improved articles with controversial topics while generally observing the guideline "assume good faith". The only way I can think of to continue to do so in response to the proposal to delete a Good Article is to say nothing until the proposal is supported by something worthy of a response.
