Ireland2 album chart

Hello, Not sure if it is you or someone else who is responsibe for fixes on the album chart template, but I left a topic at Template talk:Album chart in regards to the ireland2 parameter recently removing the "www" from their site. Are you able to fix this or is someone else? Thanks Majash2020 (talk) 23:34, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I've fixed it. Solidest (talk) 14:23, 12 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Australian certifications update

Hello Solidest, is it possible for you to update the certifications template to include the latest Australian single and album certifications? These certifications are posted monthly so this is something that is updated frequently. As far as I know, Muhandes was in charge of editing the certifications template specifically but since the sad news of his passing I'm not aware of anyone else with permission to edit the certifications template, at least not anyone who is regularly active. Thank you! MusicLover (talk) 20:01, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi, sad news. I’ll update it this time, but to be honest, I’m not very eager to keep doing this every month . It’s probably worth bringing up at WP:CHARTS how we could optimize this, without having to change the link every month. Or perhaps there’s someone else who’d like to take this on. Solidest (talk) 20:23, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Understandable, but yeah long-term someone else will have to take over. Right now it seems like there's nobody to fill in for Muhandes and all of the great work that he did. In terms of Australian certifications, there are other ways to cite certifications using the id= and certref= parameters. The certifications could just be updated at the end of the year with the full year-end certification lists. So even if that's not updated every month, at least there are a couple of other ways to cite those certifications. Overall though the certifications template is something that he was constantly updating/changing, as there are lots of different issues that can arise and changes that frequently need to be made. As far as finding a template editor who could reasonably step in to do this, I have no idea but we'll definitely have to find someone who is willing to take on the work of managing the template soon enough. In the meantime though, thanks again for updating the links! MusicLover (talk) 23:25, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
