Term limits in California
California governors can't serve more than 2 term, either consecutive or nonconsecutive. https://law.justia.com/constitution/california/article-v/section-2/
Jerry Brown did it because he was first elected governor before the amendment to add term limits was enacted. https://www.desertsun.com/story/news/nation/california/2024/11/08/how-many-times-can-a-governor-be-elected-newsom-term-end/76128819007/ Lovelyfurball (talk) 19:49, 16 May 2026 (UTC)

Eye
Plz keep an eye on this editor. I think I am at 3RR on 2026 California gubernatorial election and they are continually re-introducing incorrect capitalization across multiple articles while refusing to respond on talk pages/use edit summaries etc.
They have also repeatedly tried to alter the year of Susan Collins's official portrait despite their change clearly being wrong. Shrug aesurias (ping me in your reply, or I won't see it) (talk) 11:45, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hmm...okay. I'll keep an eye out on this editor -- I checked the editor's talk page, and he seems like he isn't responding to any of the (rightful) criticisms he is receiving. Perhaps link the editor to MOS:JOBTITLE or [1] as a final explanation to show them why their edits are incorrect for the capitalization issue. For Collins's portrait, I honestly have no idea. If the editor is simply not cooperating and continuing to violate Wikipedia policy, they may require a temporary ban on their editing privileges. Thanks for telling me! =) OreosTrulyFlow (talk) 01:01, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
