Proposed deletion of Emil Knudsen

The article Emil Knudsen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Tagged for Notability concerns for almost 15 years. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. Unsourced biography with a list of sketchy links. Fails the relevant notability guidelines.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.
If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Bearian (talk) Bearian (talk) 16:12, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
Sri lankans in Japan
Please don't revert the edits without reading the reason for the deletion.
The article is about Sri Lankans in Japan and other content unrelated to that, as ancient trade routes or stuff about Malaysia etc should be removed. Trade for example should be on Japan sri lanka relations page, not on this page. And please discuss on talk pages. ~2026-32988-60 (talk) 20:27, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
A beer for you!

Saw the recent mess with the temp account after they posted it on the Admin noticeboard. Figured you could use a metaphorical beer after that. GeogSage (⚔Chat?⚔) 06:09, 6 June 2026 (UTC) |

Question?
Why did you revert my freedom of speech in china edit? I understand it was a redirect to censorship in China, but I was trying to create a page based off of China's own legal views of freedom of speech, similar to how the united states has freedom of speech in the United States article, which is about United States legal views while also having its own article for censorship in the United States. Jdhsaldjsabfhjdaslg (talk) 04:24, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- It was a wildly non-neutral content fork that explains only what the law merely purports to protect, while almost completely ignoring the fact that freedom of speech in China is in fact severely restricted and characterized by pervasive state censorship and mass surveillance. Jfire (talk) 04:30, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- I understand that I originally wrote it using China's legal perspective as the foundation, with the intention of adding more critical viewpoints afterward to make it more neutral. It already acknowledges censorship and China's position that "freedom of speech does not mean free speech" Jdhsaldjsabfhjdaslg (talk) 04:34, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- I think a topic as vital as this needs remain neutral and balanced at all times, rather than start out from a state that encompasses only a single perspective. If you want to approach it in a piecemeal fashion, I suggest you either do so in the draft namespace (Draft:Freedom of speech in China) or make edits to the existing content at Human rights in China#Freedom of speech and then suggest a page split if it becomes too large for the parent article.
