IMDB is a site that relies on user generated content for it's existence so is not a reliable source for Wikipedia. You watchng the film is meaningless. The station scenes were shot at Carnforth which was renamed Milford for the shoot. There is no evidence that the Milford referred to was the one in Surrey. @User:Murgatroyd49, The Ten Commandments were filmed in Hollywood, but it was supposed to take place in Egypt. I did not say that Brief Encounter was filmed in Milford. I know that much of the movie was filmed in Carnforth. But where it is filmed and where it is supposed to be taking place are different matters. And don't threaten me with banning. You are not the king of Wikipedia.

I add that IMBD is a worthy website. Entries are screened. Inaccurate IMBD entries are removed or improved. Here is what is written in Wikipedia about IMDB:

"IMDb has been subject to deliberate additions of false information; in 2012 a spokesperson said: "We make it easy for users and professionals to update much of our content, which is why we have an 'edit page'. The data that is submitted goes through a series of consistency checks before it goes live. Given the sheer volume of the information, occasional mistakes are inevitable, and, when reported, they are promptly fixed. We always welcome corrections." It is still not a reliable source for Wikipedia, see WP:Reliable sources. Also there is no evidence that the "Milford" referred to in the film is the one in Surrey.

Sorry, I haven't looked at this talk page in a month. Although I know Wikitionary exists, I don't remember ever using it or editing it. To look up the definition or pronunciation of a word, I use Webster's Third New International Dictionary, which I bought for my house many years ago, or the online version of the OED.
