Invitation to reach a consensus on Runit Debbarma

Hi, I have been adding maintenance tags to this article Runit Debbarma earlier, which were removed by the author of the article without any appropriate changes/addition. Despite of proposed deletion, these tags were once again removed by the author of the article without any explanation. Currently, the article is an AFD-related discussion, but these tags were removed too, despite several warnings to the author. If you can give it a quick look at it, we probably can come to a consensus. Thank you for your time. Khorang 07:57, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary account IP viewer granted

source ↗

Hello, Imcdc. Per your request, your account has been granted temporary-account-viewer rights. You are now able to reveal the IP addresses of individuals using temporary accounts that are not visible to the general public. This is very sensitive information that is only to be used to aid in anti-abuse workflows. Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Temporary account IP viewer for more information on this user right. It is important to remember:

  • You must not share IP address data with someone who does not have the same access permissions unless disclosure is permissible as per guidelines listed at Foundation:Policy:Wikimedia Access to Temporary Account IP Addresses Policy.
  • Access must not be used for political control, to apply pressure on editors, or as a threat against another editor in a content dispute. There must be a valid reason to investigate a temporary user. Note that using multiple temporary accounts is not forbidden, so long as they are not used in violation of policies (for example, block or ban evasion).

It is also important to note that the following actions are logged for others to see:

  • When a user accepts the preference that enables or disables IP reveal for their account.
  • Revealing an IP address of a temporary account.
  • Listing the temporary accounts that are associated with one or more IP addresses (using the CIDR notation format).

Remember, even if a user is violating policy, avoid revealing personal information if possible. Use temporary account usernames rather than disclosing IP addresses directly, or give information such as same network/not same network or similar. If you do not want the user right anymore then please ask me or another administrator and it will be removed for you. You may also voluntarily give up access at any time by visiting Special:Preferences. Happy editing! —Femke 🐦 (talk) 11:58, 14 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

B B

Hi Imcdc -
I've been re-reading the policies relating to Temporary account IP viewer rights, and think much of the information, e.g. locations, since we moved from IPs to TAs, needs to be removed from the list. I think that the page has served its purpose, as the number of problems has reduced significantly, although I still run a daily "related changes" search on the "articles attacked" list, which has unearthed some problems. Could you please, therefore, stop adding TAs to that list - I will give you a couple of days, in case you want to take a copy for your personal use, before I pare it down. Thanks for co-operating on this over the last 9 months. Best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 21:20, 31 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Granite Asia revert

Hey Imcdc, just wanted to flag the Granite Asia revert. They hold a full CMS Fund Management licence from MAS and rebranded from GGV Capital Asia in 2024 to operate as a multi-asset platform across PE, VC and private credit. Not purely VC anymore. Here's the MAS registry link if useful: https://eservices.mas.gov.sg/fid/institution/detail/225726-GRANITE-ASIA-CAPITAL-PTE-LTD Meriem Aou (talk) 11:40, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

So basically they are an alternative asset management firm. The correct lists to use are List of private equity firms and List of venture capital firms. Imcdc Contact 13:06, 7 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Re: recent revert

Hey, just wanted to drop a quick note. I'm a disclosed COI editor and should've gone through the edit request process instead of editing the article directly.. I thought just disclosing the rs I had was enough.. Lesson learned. I've put in proper edit requests on the article's talk page now, so hopefully that's the right way to go about it going forward. Genuinely didn't want to disturb, after reading your bio.. I thought you didn't like initiating edits.

thanks!! Isabella4440 (talk) 20:58, 18 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
