An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Antwan Raymond, a link pointing to the disambiguation page CBC was added.

LeRoy Homer Jr. category removals

It appears that this edit to the article for LeRoy Homer Jr. removed some categories related to New Jersey that are covered and sourced in the article, but there was no explanation in the edit summary, so it's unclear why they were removed. Am I missing something? Alansohn (talk) 01:46, 28 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

It is clear from the article that he is not from New Jersey. He had no association with New Jersey until adulthood. Dennis C. Abrams (talk) 01:49, 28 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
So being from a place ends somewhere in early childhood? Living in a place, and having that backed up by reliable and sources, doesn't make you from that place? Do you have any policy to back that up? Alansohn (talk) 11:28, 28 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I have plain language and the common definition of the word "from." It's not controversial that you can't change where you're from simply by relocating. And you're moving the goalposts here; Homer was born in Long Island and attended middle and high school there. That's not "early childhood." But it seems to be much more important to you than it is to me so if you want to change it back, be my guest. Dennis C. Abrams (talk) 13:36, 28 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Please use edit summaries

Information icon Hello, I'm Flibirigit. I noticed that you recently removed content from Canada men's national ice hockey team without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
