What is your problem with the links? ILoveSport2006 (talk) 12:21, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@ILoveSport2006 What you don't understand about WP:BRD? You bold edit then revert by two editors, so the next step is for you to discuss it on talk page but not and instead WP:IDHT. Another thing, the whole article page will load slowly as it takes too much of memory space (bytes) if all match score were link.
I also noticed that my removal of the redundant cross-tournament link in the See Also section of both men's and women's tournament of EuroVolley 2026 was reverted by you without an explanation. Since the link is already explicitly present in the hatnote at the top of the article, having it in the See Also section is redundant per standard layout preferences. By two editors you mean yourself and the random one that made just 2 unimportant edits? I spend ages on my editing so obviously I am frustrated and irritated when instead of people helping, like doing some of the detailed statistics on the preliminary round page (that by the way, should been created years ago), they would delete that and add a wiki link to back their point as if that has won them the argument.
Also, in my opinion, having a second link in the EuroVolley pages is useful based off my experience on Wikipedia before editing. I used to like pages that made it very practical to navigate other similar pages, so saying it is redundant means nothing to me.
If the article gets improved by having more bytes due to having more links then who cares? I have never had issues regarding loading time on articles so to me that is a nothing argument (it is harsh but I am being honest). ILoveSport2006 (talk) 12:59, 4 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I understand your frustration, and I genuinely appreciate the time and effort you put into these pages. However, Wikipedia operates on community-wide guidelines to ensure consistency and mobile accessibility across all articles. Per WP:OVERLINK, linking every individual match score creates visual clutter and strains page-loading times for users on slower connections. Please remember that per WP:BRD and WP:OWN, when multiple editors revert a bold change, we must pause to establish consensus on the talk page regardless of our personal preferences or edit counts. Let's abide within standard layout guidelines and not just some based off my experience. Also have some WP:CIVILITY and WP:AGF as your reply constitute WP:IDHT. Please consider the margins. If this was a dark version (the version used on a white background), it would be fine to crop up to the edge. But no, we have to consider the readability/visibility of the logo. We do not know how the dark version look like, our current workaround is to use the dark blue background but we have to take account that the logo needs some "breathing space" on the infobox. Frankling it is jarring that the white "AVC" and white shapes on the logo is clashing with the greyish white background of the infobox. Hariboneagle927 (talk) 14:30, 5 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
