Proposed deletion of The Lo-Fis

Notice
source ↗

The article The Lo-Fis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOTABLE

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 09:55, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not upload copyrighted cover artworks to Commons, and read WP:NALBUMS

Hello. Copyrighted album covers should not be uploaded to Commons and will eventually be deleted. Commons is for free files; copyrighted album covers should be uploaded to Wikipedia directly. You can use the WP:File upload wizard to do this.

That being said, please stop creating articles for non-notable hip hop projects. Unless the album received reviews from notable media outlets or charted well, it's probably not notable. Spotify/Apple Music/Tidal and Genius links do not prove an album's notability or why it should have an article on Wikipedia. Please read WP:NALBUMS before creating any more articles. Thanks. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited F*ck Love, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Columbia.

How Tf Is This a Mixtape? (album) moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, How Tf Is This a Mixtape? (album), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, Giuliotf, left the following feedback:
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion for music. The draft requires either:

or multiple published secondary sources that:

  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.

Please add references that meet these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.

It is often easier to prove the notability of an album or artist than an individual song or band member. If the subject is not yet notable, consider improving a relevant existing article instead.
Twitter sources are not independent of the subject and are can't be used to establish notability. Please show that the subject has received significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources.

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:00Twinz to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.
  • If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it may be deleted.
