Hello B.J. My edit to the sauce wiki page was a quote from many of his fans, stating what they often refer to him as. This is removing the honorary title his fans have given him. Please reconsider your removal, I am disappointed.

You don't directly say that, it's a part of Pakistan, it's still matter of border dispute, you currently say that it is under Pakistan administration but not a part of Pakistan, if you are giving tital to part of Pakistan then it will directly offend whole bharat, make correct it right now!

LUL SORRY

yeah I was just fooling around, sorry about that. you were insanely quick though! HelloJohnDoe! (talk) 17:49, 3 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Peculiar reversion

Hello. Can you explain this reversion you made? It looked like the user was fixing a typo that broke a wikilink, and you reverted it, re-breaking the wikilink. What was the purpose of that? – numbermaniac 05:53, 13 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

No! Now, carefully examining that edit. I remember that diff. I was concentrated on reverting this edit specifically. However, what I notice now is that the TA managed to correct the error before my revert published. And if you take a closer look at the timing of the revert -- just a 4 second deficit -- I obviously had a connection issue at that moment. The only problem was that I did not check the live revision in a normal browser.‎ — B.J (talk) 06:30, 13 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Ah, that makes sense. I can't see the individual seconds but I can see all those edits were within the same minute - fair enough. Thanks for checking that :) – numbermaniac 04:19, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

About the info I added about Fath-Ali Khan Afshar

hello there. if you want to get reminded, I was the one who added info for Fath-Ali Khan Afshar. I'll give the reasons why I changed it. 1- Where does the infos come from? There was another person who asked the same, and here is my answer: My Grandma- we actually are a descendant of Fath-Ali Khan Afshar, and my Grandma knows some info that heard it from her grandparents back in the 1950's. 2- The informations about conquering some places (like Mosul and Hakkari) come from the book "Urmia Khanate" made by "Chingizoglu Anvar" which explains the Afshars of Urmia with sources, and those wars are included here, even the backstory of Fath-Ali Khan Afshar. I hope you see and read it, have a good day. Afsharid patriot (talk) 13:08, 13 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Domestic pig edits

Hi! I think I know why that one user kept adding the Scots Gaelic domain to the link for domestic pig in list of recurring The Simpsons characters. It's because it has the scientific name of the pig, which has the word "sus" in it... - OpalYosutebitotalk』 『articles I want to eat11:33, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Canadian coin rounding

Hi B.J, I noticed you recently reverted an edit by a temporary account regarding the Canadian cash rounding rules with the edit summary "Incorrect!". I wanted to clarify that the temporary account's edit was actually the correct math for Canada. Because Canada still uses the 5-cent coin, cash transactions are rounded to the nearest 5 cents, rather than the nearest 10 cents.

Under a 5-cent rounding system: 1 and 2 round down to 0; 3 and 4 round up to 5. 6 and 7 round down to 5; 8 and 9 round up to 10.

The version you restored (rounding 1–4 down and 6–9 up) describes a 10-cent rounding system, which isincorrect for Canada have reverted your edit to restore the correct 5-cent rounding rules. Please let me know if you have any questions! Sir Nuttingham (talk) 14:12, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

No. No. No questions, man. It is a rather very difficult situation to determine such an edit as factual without an edit summary or a provided reliable source, especially with the ultimate disruption of the infamous "6" "7" swimming around hundreds of articles. Right now, by looking at the history of this page myself, I noticed that this particular edit was challenged by another TA who wrote a rather strange edit summary. Also, by fact checking this source -- https://www.empower.com/the-currency/money/penny-retired-cash-rounding-rules-news -- it appears that ~2026-34824-06's edit was entirely incorrect and caused all this confusion. I'll change my rationale immediately to the good TA who spotted this.‎ — B.J (talk) 15:00, 14 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Eduard Buk Ulreich edits

Hello B.J. - I had tried to update Edward to Eduard, which is the correct spelling of his Ulreich's name. I also updated his birth date to 1889, instead of 1884. I had left a note on the page's Talk section. My sources are on this page: https://eduardbukulreicharchive.com/news-notes-ideas/solving-when-eduard-buk-ulreich-born/ which show Ulreich's death certificate and last will & testament as well as an immigration record. Happy to talk through this further, though I am confident that my proposed edits are factual. The eduardbukulreich.com site was developed by my and my father. Ulreich is my great great uncle. My hope is to spread awareness of Ulreich's life and work and promote his legacy. Keburkhardt (talk) 15:29, 26 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello B.J. - Can you please provide an update on reinstating these edits? Thank you. ~2026-38796-21 (talk) 14:07, 8 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
I needed more time to look up into this, rather than just rely only on one link you provided. Although the birth year widely conflicts between 1884 & 1889 among many sources, the real birth date is obviously 1889. It was kinda difficult, but I have revised some parts of the article myself and added a reliable reference I found, also fixed two sources.‎ — B.J (talk) 11:47, 10 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for updating his name to Eduard in the body of the article. Can you please update the article's title/headline too? ~2026-38796-21 (talk) 15:29, 15 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

WP:OS

Hi there, if you spot someone putting what looks like a phone number or address onto a talk page, please don't just revert, please also send it to WP:OS. Thanks! In solidarity, asilvering (talk) 22:27, 30 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Yeah. Right. Just finished reading up that page, but just a quick question to be really sure, since I'm unfamiliar with the process myself. Do I request the suppression directly on a talk page or via email?‎ — B.J (talk) 05:32, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Via email. If you find it more convenient, can also use the "report" button that appears in the "..." menu after any talk page comment. "Unacceptable user behavior" --> "Exposing private personal information (doxxing)" --> press "send report". In solidarity, asilvering (talk) 09:54, 2 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Having not seen the page history, I thought you were saying my barnstar was from an LTA. I was a little dismayed for a moment... good thing I checked the page history to see what you were talking about. Anyway, thank you for your contributions! JeffSpaceman (talk) 20:41, 4 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Don't sweat it man. You're cool. A #1 hidden fact is that page histories are also considered very reliable sources, for verification among editing behavior. (<_<)‎ — B.J (talk) 22:52, 5 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hey there, I'm a little confused by Article hijacking. I'm simply updating information or adding more on stubs, but since they already have an existing page, there is no need to create an entirely new article. If you could maybe be a little more specific on what I'm doing wrong, that would be great. I appreciate you pointing it out, though. I have realized I have been replacing some page sections, but I feel like I'm adding more meaningful information. Thanks B.J (talk) 02;05, 5 July 2026 (UTC)

No worries man. That was partially an incorrect warning I had sent you. However, in this edit, you switched "NGC 7317" for "NGC 3717". I would take this as a mistake you made? The very next edit seemed reasonable enough. Happy editing.‎ — B.J (talk) 02:15, 6 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
oh yeah, that was my bad, I was planning on editing 3717 but I suppose I accidentally switched them up. Whoops. It was my mistake, more surprised I didn't see it honestly. Do you have any recommendations to help improve my writing and especially sources? DragonPowerZ (talk) 02:33, 6 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Theo update

Hi BJ, I tried to update Michael Theos page. I haven’t got a source quote other than from him himself. He is currently next to me on the couch. How do we update his page and what verification is required to do so? He is presently at Avondale Heights FC and engaged to Rebecca Cohrssen. We have a son. both are verifying via his social media. just thought it was a cool and funny fact, in the book tough jews by rich Cohen this is a important fact Benparski (talk) 01:46, 14 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Certainly an interesting book. It also says Levine wouldn't "fight" on the sabbath, not "kill". I think that's an important distinction. ASUKITE 02:08, 14 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Asukite that is simply not true. it says he wouldn't kill on the Sabbath. I'm not sure that you read the book. Benparski (talk) 02:23, 14 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Usernames

Usernames are global across all the WMF projects. Some of them, such as Commons and the German wiki allow businesses to have user accounts. Some have no username policy at all. Until users have edited on this wiki, or the filter log shows that they've tried, they're not subject to this wiki's username policy. Except, of course, for the most offensive usernames.
