Prodan (Bulgarian: Продан) is a South Slavic (Bulgarian,¹ Serbian and Croatian²) masculine given name, itself a passive adjective (prodan) from Slavic prodati–"to sell", hence meaning "sold".² It is attested in Bulgarian¹ and Croatian² society since the Middle Ages.
