Podocarpus grayae is a species of conifer in the family Podocarpaceae, which is endemic to Australia. It is found only in the Northern Territory and Queensland.1
Taxonomy and naming
Podocarpus grayae was first described in 1985 by David John de Laubenfels, who gave it the specific epithet, grayii, to honour Netta Elizabeth Gray (1913 - 1970).23 However, because Netta was a woman, the name was changed to grayae to accord with ICN Art. 60.8 of the Shenzhen Code, 2018.24
