Mount Hypothesis

Mount Hypothesis is the mountain rising to 1094 m on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica. It has precipitous and rocky north slopes, and surmounts Mundraga Bay on the east and south.

Mount Hypothesis (Bulgarian: връх Хипотеза, romanizedvrah Hipoteza,1 IPA: [ˈvrɤx xipoˈtɛzɐ]) is the mountain rising to 1094 m2 on Nordenskjöld Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica. It has precipitous and rocky north slopes, and surmounts Mundraga Bay on the east and south.3

The feature is named in appreciation of the role of hypothesis in scientific research.3

Location

Mount Hypothesis is located at 64°26′41″S 60°01′27″W / 64.44472°S 60.02417°W / -64.44472; -60.02417, which is 2.9 km southeast of Mount Elliott, 6.1 km northeast of Storgozia Nunatak and 5 km east of Zgorigrad Nunatak.
