Linnich (German pronunciation: [ˈlɪnɪç] ) is a town in the district of Düren in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located on the Roer (German: Rur).

Economy

There is an SIG subdivisional company in Rurstraße 58, 52441 Linnich, Germany. The head of service is Erich Kremp.3

Town twinning

Since 1974, Linnich is twinned with the French town of Lesquin in the Nord département.4

There is a train station and a bus central station in Linnich. The train RB21 (by Rurtalbahn) provides service from Linnich via Jülich to Düren.5
