Gençay (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃sɛ]) is a commune in the Vienne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in western France. The inhabitants are called Gencéens.

Geography

The village lies on the left bank of the Clouère, which forms the commune's northern border.
