Powerpodz Microstars better known just as Powerpodz was a brand of chocolate in a shape of a famous Premier League footballer manufactured by Corinthians Marketing in partnership with Magna Confectionery. They were launched in 2001. They were released in series’ a few times a year, featuring a Premier League footballer of that time.1

Beginning

Since the launch of Corinthian Marketing figures since 1995, collectors asked about how it could be possible to produce a micro version, after a few years of development, on 12 February 2001, they were released.

Powerpodz featured in various UK supermarkets, such as Woolworths, Asda and Sainsbury's, but later was introduced in other stores.
