Leake Academy is a private Christian school in Madden, Mississippi. It was established in 1971 in the wake of desegregation. Rebels are the mascot. Mississippi Supreme Court justice Jennifer Branning (née Burrage) attended.
It competes in the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools. In 2022, the Lady Rebels basketball team won a state championship over Brookhaven Academy in the finals of its league.1
In 2013, girls basketball coach Doyle Wolverton was arrested after biting the face of one of his players during a huddle. He coached at the school for 18 years prior and accrued 1,200 wins.23 He resigned.4
The school's girls' basketball team scored 20 3-pointers, a Mississippi record, in a 13th straight win in 2022.5
As of 2025, its football team conpetes in 2-3A.6 As of January 2025, the Leake girls' basketball team won 23 straight games.7
