Dev Ittycheria (born 1966 or 19672) is an Indian software executive of American nationality and venture capitalist based in New York City's Silicon Alley, and is CEO of MongoDB Inc. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Rutgers University.3
Career
Early in his career, he co-founded and ran a cloud services company called Applica, which eventually merged with Breakaway Solutions.45
In 2001, Ittycheria co-founded BladeLogic and worked as the company's chief executive until it was bought by BMC for $900 million in 2008, after which he became president at BMC.
In 2012, he joined venture capital firm Greylock Partners as a partner.5
In 2014, he became President and CEO of MongoDB.6
