Cryptotrogus monodi is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae.1 It is found in Iran.23
Description
Adults reach a length of about 14–19 mm (0.55–0.75 in). They are reddish-brown, with a dark brown head.3
Etymology
The species is named in honour of the French naturalist and desert specialist Théodore Monod, who first collected the species.3
