Conveglipron

Conveglipron is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist which is under development for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, obesity, and diabetes mellitus. It is taken orally. The drug is a small molecule and is a selective and highly potent full agonist of the GLP-1 receptor with antihyperglycemic and antiobesity effects in animals. Conveglipron is under development by Huadong Medicine in China. As of January 2026, it is in phase 3 clinical trials for type 2 diabetes, phase 2 trials for obesity, and phase 1 trials for diabetes mellitus.
